blazinjr Posted April 13, 2005 Report Share Posted April 13, 2005 I went out and got my first bike. I wanted something cheap on insurance, good looks, and light weight. I have only ridden a couple different street bikes so I wanted a starter bike that would not bite me on the ass if I gave it too much throttle. Here is what I got... http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y132/Blazinjr/GS5004-13-2005.jpg A new left over 04 GS500F, after trading in my atv I got it OTD for $3200 and $400 a year for full coverage with all the good coverages. I figure I ride it for a year or two then give it to the wife and go get something a little bigger. Last Wednesday I put a little over 200 miles on it. After riding atv's and a old dirt bike this bike rides pretty smooth. Besides all the guys I work with have Harleys and cruisers so as long as I can keep up or pass them this bike will do.
