John
helmet locks are basically worthless. if someone wants the helmet, they will just cut the strap. carry your helmet with you. chicks dig it.never leave the helmet.
Relboc
Take it all with me. If I have a tail bag secured to the bike, I never leave anything expensive in it and don't lock the bag. That just invites the knife opening of my bag. Trust no one with your stuff and don't leave the bike where others can screw with it.
John
i have a note inside my tankbag that saysNO! NOT YOURS!
APCh8r
I just carry my gear with me, don't want to take the chance of something getting stolen or messed up.
gsxrnurse
I just take it all with me, gloves in the helmet, wear the jacket. I dont want my helmet stolen, farted in, or pissed on, besides they are expensive.Whoops! I farted in your helmet today. All 5 of them. jermattak
drop my helmet by the bike, kick it to jam it between the ground and the headers, drape my jacket off my pipe, cram my gloves by the shock
that dude
i never leave gear out..locked or not..itd not hard to steal a helmet from a bikes rear seat..or fuck with it..take it all in with me
swingset
I just put everything in the lockable luggage. Riding a hideous Vstrom with panniers and a top box has its advantages, it also deters thieves because no on steals anything so ugly. Disclaimer
it also deters thieves because no on steals anything so ugly.I know a lot of guys with low self-esteem that date women based on this principle.

Lost1888
I have a RT recon 19 tank bag that I use a sling strap with and carry with me when I am away from the bike. Helmet goes under the seat and I always wear my coat no matter how hot it may be.I'd rather sweat than bleed!
bigbluebird
just park your bikes next to mine, it has an alarm with proximity on it
jlucus245
yea the bikes got a hook under the rear seat you could use to strap the helmet to and then lock the seat back over it but i figure its easy to just cut that strap..
dorifto240
Why leave the helmet? Take it with you, so everyone knows you ride. Especially the chicks... In fact, we could have all saved a ton of money and just bought jackets and helmets.
vw151
I have never had anyone steal any of my gear. When I had a relatively cheap Icon helmet. I left it on the bike. When I got my Shoei, I started taking it with me. I don't think anyone would steal it but it cost $400. Loosing it would hurt. That's just my take, do whatever you feel comfortable with. magley64
Usually shove our gloves in the trunk, attach the helmets under the seat, then carry the jackets in, wear the pants/boots. Unless were someplace I feel safe, then I'll drape the coat over the mirrors/windscreen. But that's not too often.dweezel feels safe on whitewoman street... 1dtfgsxr
Yea, its kind of a hassle taking your helmet into resturants and stuff but I dont like dropping cash to replace a stolen or pissed in helmet. Id rather spend it else where. Like a strip club.
