So it seems most everybody wants to do this instead of a weekly bike night. So, what day of the week does the majority want to do it on?

My vote is for Sunday or Friday. Both will give us more time for rides. Sundays we can leave earlier, Fridays we can stay out later.

If we do this on Sunday, departure from Columbus would be around 3:30p leaving plenty of time in the AM for flag football. This won't interfere at all except you might be a bit tired.

If we do this any other day, departure would be around 5:30p from Columbus.

I know this isnt the plan but has anyone thought about doing something like a Sunday Lunch? The best days for me to ride is Sunday and figure Lunch would be more convienient since its right in the middle of the day.

That would interfere with the flag football shindig QueenBee puts on. If you're interested in doing something on Sundays during the midday, you should check it out:

I haven't been able to make it yet due to work, but from what I've heard everyone is having an absolute blast. Riding Sunday evening / late afternoon wouldn't interfere, and would give everyone a chance to relax after the game.

I think a lil bit of both would be a great idea! Flagfoot games seem to end before 12:30 too.

That's the idea. If we do this on Sunday, we can leave town around 3:30p. That would give enough time between flag football and the dinner ride, and let us ride for longer. So instead of 1.5hrs each way, we could do 2 or 2.5hrs each way. And as an added bonus, say there's a holiday on Monday (wow, that never happens), we could do an occasional overnight trip for those interested. Maybe Put-in-Bay? Cedar Point? Cabin in Hocking? Etc.....
