SpaceGhost
Taken From another site that you have to be a member of: Vivid Racing takes the ultimate leap with their Project EVO X and teams up with Agency Power and AFI Turbo to release this new GT35 Twin Scroll Turbo Kit. The Agency Power AFI Turbo Kit features a Twin Scroll Garrett GT35R with a .82a/r and twin external Tial 44mm wastegates. The kit is designed to work modular with the Agency Power Cold Air Intake and factory front mount intercooler. However, Agency Power and AFI have taken it 1 step further and developed this high flow vertical bar and plate core front mount intercooler for maximum horsepower. The kit connects to the large turbo compressor with the upgraded 3" intercooler pipe which is powdercoated black and all TIG welded. The headers feature the AFI true merged collector and a CNC machined stainless steel 1/2inch thick flange. All the T304 stainless steel pipes are maticulously cut and then TIG welded for a perfect fit and finish. To make this turbo kit work, Agency Power is finishing development of it's CNC machined aluminum high flow fuel rail and upgraded larger injectors. In addition, we have removed the factory fuel pump and had a direct replacement pump manufactured for us to handle the 600whp this car will produce. While controlling the boost with our Greddy Profec B2 boost controller, Vivid Racing will be tuning this car using the ECUTEK ECU flash on our Mustang All Wheel Drive Dyno. Stay tuned as this project heats up with the addition of JIC Magic Coilovers, Test & Service body kit, and some 1 off special edition IForged wheels. 2highpsi
Looks sweet..... Twin scroll is a bunch of marketing hype though. Back to back testing has shown little to no improvement to spool-up and a decrease in overall peak and average hp.

.Reason
It looks real tight back there. I guess they had to take out the brace to get that thing to fit eh?
Shearer
It's not too tight. A 35r fits pretty easy.
SpaceGhost
What's the engine code for those beasts now? It's not a 4g63 anymore is it? It's backwards.

boosted98gst
4B11T Took something great and changed it. Go figure. what a mistake on mitsu's half an engine that has proved over and over on ralley, drag ect for over 20+ years. But it looks to be top notch work and a nice car. GSXRAntwon
I still like the Evo 8-9's imho....
Dr. Apex
4B11T Took something great and changed it. Go figure. Was bound to happen eventually, we knew they would at least go to all aluminum. I think the engine layout is much better, makes more sense and the engine sits something like 4in lower in the bay. Now people are just going to have to sleeve the blocks and such to to get big boost likely.
Guest EM1 2ENVY
yes the 8s and 9s are way more apealing
Rally Pat
I think the car looks great, but like the others, I don't see why they had to change a proven motor.
ghost face
It looks like that evo owner will have some messed up hands in the future
TTQ B4U
I think the new ones look great too. I'm dumb on their tech talk though so I don't know what they changed or what they got out of it by doing so. Haven't seen anything but the regular ones though. Guy at work has one in that same red. Looks great but it's the typical n/a 4 banger I think the car looks great, but like the others, I don't see why they had to change a proven motor. Guest GMoney
There have been a few 35r's put on the new X but no true dyno numbers or track times. The stock turbo with just bolt-ons is crazy.
