Buck531
I have a cheap Harbor Freight 3.5 HP 30 gallon deal. It works for what I use it for. Sucks ass for using anything with a continuous need for air (air hammer, cut off wheel, etc.).
Clifford Automotive
mine looks like this and does quite well http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3184/2701714465_e5d026aa6b_o.jpg This is what I was originally going to go with. I just happen to see the IR at TSC and bought it on the spot. I have a friend that runs dual Husky's in his shop, and loves it. I will be adding another IR to my line up early 09 and eliminating the Craftsman.
zeitgeist57
Campbell Hausfield 7hp 60ga...bought it in 2003 at Lowes for $4xx...moved from one house down to FL and back up here...great unit and has not let me down. The petcock at the bottom broke so I cannot drain water from the bottom of the tank...has been this way for a few years . Probably need to air it out and replace the drain. I do have a water filter at the line out to protect mah tools... Really, I don't know how I could have ever done some automotive jobs without it...
