Benner
El Vaquero's is pretty good. they've got the best enchiladas I've found. Don't think there's any on campus but they're all around. Here's there locations. I guess this site will even deliver as well. http://www.city-takeout.com/order.asp?action=showstore&id=10&inset=

Guest Eye_of_the_Beholder
In the mood for some tasty mexican food tonight for dinner, anyone know of good places around OSU? True, authentic Mexican cuisine or the Mexican-esque American bastardized version? The best I have had since leaving California was a Taco Truck a family is operating on Georgesville just south of Broad by the train tracks. http://tacotruckscolumbus.com/
Sully
Rancho Algre in Granview This place is full of win!! I've hit almost every mexican joint in columbus and this place is the best, imo.

99MustangGTman
Thanks for the quick replies guys. I'm going to pick one of these places soon, I actually live right by El Vaquero, but read mixed reviews on it.
Guest Eye_of_the_Beholder
Is that the one in the old putt-putt parking lot? By the U Store It place, just north of the tracks by the light for Sullivant. A true test for a place I have found, and my GF in Cali taught me, if they have Lingua, posole or menudo on the menu...it's good eats. I got to see a few of the entrees someone else had ordered and it looked AMAZING. Rob had a bite of my carnitas quesadilla (he SWORE he would hate it) and he swiped it for himself, and the Pico di Gallo is amazing. The other truck a little north of that one, in the old Candy Store lot, has the best homemade Ice Cream.

What's the new name of the restaurant that used to be Talita's? I hear they kept the menu, just changed ownership, but I haven't been in there for a year. 99MustangGTman
I tried El Vaquero yesterday since its right down the street, ehh it was ok. I'd rate it a 6.5/10. I wish there was an Uncle Julio's Rio Grande around here, that place has awesome mexican food.
