nuttinfas
I'm looking at buying a 96 mustang. The car was a v-6 and now been converted to a 5.0. its got a rebuilt t-5 and a stock 5.0 with about 1300 miles on it. Has a few mods like l.t. built 8.8 with 4.10 cold air, an e303 cam and a few other items nothing crazy. car is fairly clean with one dent in the door. Its also a flordia car. what do you guys think its worth. I know its a v-6 but jusst wondering what would be a good price.

Igor
and this is the only real issue with the car. Its the dent in the door. car looks real clean. I would not call that a dent, that's a crater. Other then that car looks good. I like the wheels.

CRAWDAD
You can save on insurance. Because the VIN will come back as a V6
Bam
You can save on insurance. Because the VIN will come back as a V6 Yeah! And then if/when it gets totaled you'll get squat for it since it'll only be a V6, and even that old of a V8 car ain't worth jack to insurance. dy85merc
Besides that huge dent, looks good. Doesn't look half-assed under the hood either. I wouldn't think it's worth more than $5K. But I'm not looking at in person either.
nurkvinny
With the fucked up drivers side... $2500 max.
Buckeye1647545503
Bad title and needing a new door and paint and a non v8 car ya 2500 max. That car with the v6 in it in that shape (door) with a salvage title whould be les than a grand so the 5.0 can't add that much

Nitrousbird
I'd pass. 5.0L Mustangs are a dime a dozen, and why buy a swap when you can get one that came that way from the factory. Who knows what corners may have been cut to do the swap.
DKilbourne
I'd pass. 5.0L Mustangs are a dime a dozen, and why buy a swap when you can get one that came that way from the factory. Who knows what corners may have been cut to do the swap. This. Also, if the deal seems to good to be true it usually is too good to be true. If the guy won't meet you in ATL, then tell him good luck with the sale. He seems to be rather hesitant on responding to you and getting you the info that you want, so find another car and move on.
