I saw a smoking ford escort once, it has turned me away from all Fords.

when did they last make an escort? exactly.

this altima was new body style and all i was saying is that i cant believe it was burned out already and that i personally would not buy one for a few years until a new engine design comes out since the one they use now has proven to me that it does not hold up well

i saw a newer altima the other day, and it was blowing smoke like a freight train...makes me weary against buying a nissan for awhile

And how many fords have burned to the ground while parked? Yet you still bought one.

As for the Nissan just because one persons lack of maintenance doesn't determine how Nissan's fleet of cars stand up to reliability.

nissan issued a recall to replace faulty shit that makes them burn oil? good to know

doesnt matter how much you guys try and convince me, i personally will not be buying a nissan for the next few years until they redesign...end of story, thats how i feel and you nutswingers wont sway me

if im driving down the road and see a car blowing loads of oil smoke, its not going to immediately make me think "oh man, sweet car! i think i should go look into buying one"

maybe yall feel differently, and good for you, but not me

You literally cause pain every time you post.

I think I'm going to start a charity to help cancer. Set a mark, say $1000 to ban Tyler. I think we'd reach it in a surprisingly short period of time.

- Earlier CTS

- IS300

- G35x

- 3-series BMW

- B7 A4

- TL

- G8 GT if you could find one cheap enough (doubtful)

At that price point, there are enough good cars out there not to buy something lame. I was sporting a 2010 Malibu the past 2 days; that car was full of suck.

Get a low mileage Lexus IS300, 5 speed. Fun to drive, reasonably quick, Lexus quality, Toyota reliability, super resale value.

Suspension is a bit soft for my taste, but that is easily fixed. 100k timing belt service is $1,200 at the dealer, so be aware of that.

Other than these two things, they are great cars. Plus, you will get change back from your $15k.

I miss mine.

Very hard to find since I was looking before getting the Audi. I drove the A4 quattro after an 5 speed IS300 and I couldn't see myself driving the IS300 again or in the winter ever.

I love my 06 Milan

its a good thing you do, since mercury is about to be kaput.

i'd never trust a nissan; they let the French produce (some of) their engines.

Jones, I've been saying that CR needs a payban system where users can ban other users by contributing money to keep CR. maybe like a dollar a day?

and to the OP, get the damn TL. its the nicest car that anyone has mentioned yet.
