Mattsv8 Posted September 30, 2010 Report Share Posted September 30, 2010 yep did you notice the low rpm where it exploded. the nos noid was proably leaking a very small amount. somewhere below 3000 it decided to light once in the intake. more than likley he just hit the spray full open. and boom. deff not the first one but does make you think about it in a street car huh. theres a reason a race driver wears nomex. preferably dual layer. There were six or more juice cars that poped intakes at the ADRL race this past weekend. It was crazy when it happend in the water box you could hear the pop and then about 20 people ran up to the car with fire gear. The would also try to see if there was a fire under the hood by sticking an arm in the scoop The bikes also were banging up some motors but that was mostly at the half track or big end. The oxygen in the nitrous feeds the flames like a fork in a buffet to the mouth of a fat girl. Blah blah blah combustion, blah blah blah I sound smart.
