What about the Audi RS5 that is supposedly coming to the states? I bought an m6 instead of a Z and kinda wish I bought the other sometimes. Ya the gtr is nice do not get me wrong but to me it just does not get the attention that a zo6 will get from your average people. For example when I was at work the other day and in the company truck with some co-workers a gtr was pulling up and my foreman said what is this hotwheels pos and I had to laugh and explain what it was to him but everytime we see a zo6 on the road he is like dammmnnnn that car is BAD. The only skyline I would buy would be an r33 or r34 nismo tuned car, cause those cars are raw and right hand drive would be so cool. The new ones just do not do it for me I hate to say. You're right on. The r33/r34's were unreal. Another option would be to buy a fast street car for 10-15k and save the rest or take the extra money and invest into what got you successful. There is a BIG price difference between a 997 Turbo and a C6 Z06. Like, the oldest 997 Turbo (2007) with some miles MIGHT be found for the price of a brand new Z06. But in between the C6 Z06 and GTR that's a hard decision. I'm a huge fan of turbo AWD cars, and you've already had a Z06 so I'd give a slight nod to the GTR. But all else being equal, just looking at performance, perceived reliability, looks, etc, I'd go with the C6 Z06.
