cptn janks
i understand its directional, but is there a special brush you use or something? http://i.imgur.com/fBVHI.jpg http://i.imgur.com/6zFwI.jpg
STEVE-O
Those people must not use their car that much. I would say a brush and cleaner would do the trick
nurkvinny
A vacuum. The lines hide a lot of imperfections. Why do you want lines?
Das Borgen
use a vacuum with a brush attachment....brush one way, next line the other way and alternate...pretty simple concept but hard to execute perfect lines
Doc1647545523
I found it easier to tape a striped stencil into place on top of the carpet and then shampoo just the carpet that shows through. Remove the stencil and you've got your lines. And they don't "go away" the first time you load up the car with kids & pets. :fuckyeah:
dragknee66
Lines look bad ass thats why :fuckyeah:

wnaplay1647545503
I believe its carpet clean the strips in opposite directions. The water helps keep each direction in place. Then scotchguard to help keep it in place. This is total bullshit but seems like a logical explanation.
Not Brian
only clean 50% of the car
LS_Sonoma
I like start with a hooker and some coke. Then the lines get really interesting, both on her ass and the road. Or you can use a steamer and just push- pull in opposite directions.
Avenger1647545502
I did this in a car last week...18 Dominican guys hopped in and started playing baseball.

Steamer and go back and fourth up and down but when going down go straight and when you come back up go at an angle and it will look like the first picture

iwashmycar
The industrial carpet shampooers will do that. It leaves it pretty damp which is why the lines stay so well when it dries. The one I used which made that look did not have a brush. Just the stainless steel steamer/vac thing. Kind of like these: http://www.carpet-cleaning-equipment.net/images/auto-detail-kit-sm.jpg

Dr. Pomade
Can this technique also be used on public hair? Just wondering.
Trouble Maker
Can this technique also be used on public hair? Just wondering. This is the method I've found works best, it's similar to Doc's method for the carpet. 1) Shave with a body groomer on about a #1 everywhere 2) Put strips of duct tape down in lines 3) Shave everywhere 4) Remove duct tape 5) Make sure you did the lines vertical due to enhanced optical illusions vertical lines can have If you have enough body hair you can do this everywhere. I once did a baseball field pattern, that took a long time.
cptn janks
i tried that, but the tape keeps pulling out hair with it.
99FLHRCI
i tried that, but the tape keeps pulling out hair with it. Maybe try the Duck Tape first and then shave the exposed areas to the desired shade (#1 blade?) and peel the tape resulting in slight stripes.
