ICEMAN1647545504
Okay. Here is my problem. Whenever I go to google and do a search it will give me the search results but when I try to click on any of the results it takes me to a web site http://www.zinkwink.com. I tried to block the web site in the settings but it still takes me there. Also sometimes when I try to go on different web sites it redirects me to http://www.zinkwink.com. For example, I tried to go to toysrus.com and it took me to http://www.zinkwink.com. Any ideas on how to fix this issue??? Thanks.

Richard Cranium
I use AVG. It's free and a decent scanner, doesn't bog my system down like Norton and McAfee do. Google "Free AVG", there is a 30 day free trial to, but for personal use get the totally free version. http://www.cleanpcguide.com/remove-zinkwink-com-removal-guide-how-to-remove-zinkwink-com/
TTQ B4U
Use a completely separate PC to surf porn and download from torrents. Keep all other PC's powered down when doing so too. Tablets work good for porn though too though :gabe: AV Wise, I run Malwarebytes and MS Security Essentials. Never had an issues and both have done great at catching a few things that did make their way towards me.

Fubar231
Create system restore points on your PC and if shit hits the fan just restore it. My GF was surfing the web the other day and actually got one on my comp, took me 5 mins to restore to a previous point and all was good. TTQ B4U
Thanks guys... malwarebytes fixed it. I also installed AVG too just in case. Good to hear. I know many swear by it, but I didn't have as good of luck with AVG as MS Security Essentials. My last "download" PC got nailed and AVG couldn't fix it. I knew what file did it and when I re-imaged the drive I installed MS and uninstalled AVG and Security Essentials nailed it when I went to download the file again. Quarentined and cleaned it without issue.

TurboGoKart
Malwarebytes kicks ass. If it isn't letting you go there, which 10 times out of 10 that I've found is true, how did you get on here? Lol. There's a setting in your browser that it making it go straight to whatever site the virus/malware is pointing you to. It's under "Settings" or "Options", then the "Connections" tab, and take out where it's pointing you to a specific address. Sorry, I'm on a work computer and I can't tell you exactly what, but it has to do with the malware changing how your computer goes to websites. I know you got it fixed, but for other people, maybe it'll help. You can also google the name of the website it's taking you to, as you're not the first for it to happen to. Or, since you somehow managed to get on CR, then use your smartphone and do the google search there, then fix the internet settings, then Malwarebytes, yadda yadda.
