What did you do with your car today?

Let's keep this thread alive. Post about anything from going on a fun drive to doing a much needed brake job. I don't know about you guys but it seems like any more its harder and harder to find time doing things I enjoy.

 

Today I replaced a melted wiring connector and the multifunction switch in the column of my neon. I now have working high beams for the first time since I bought the car :fuckyeah:

The dealership gave me floor mats with their website stamped on them.. replaced them with new ones and washed the 4 hour drive's worth of bugs/dirt off her.

Took the bike out and had some fun. Was riding through delaware on Sandusky st. when I pull up next to a older lady (late 50's) driving a Dale Earnhardt edition Monte Carlo. We where at the red light and she rev's it, not knowing what she is doing I look at her, light turns green and she turns into John Force. literally getting on it hard, of course im on the bike so grab throttle and fly by her doing about 60/70 (through delaware). We get to the next red light I look over and she's not doing anything, like it never happened. Sweet old lady.......WTF

Washed the Audi with my old standby Megs Gold Class. This picture was BEFORE I actually washed it. I have not done any paint correction or wax. I just wash it once in a while with this stuff.

 

Over time the wax in the soap builds up a bit and looks decent. No it doesn't bead or protect as well as if you actually wax it (as you can see), but for a daily driver that doesn't get much love you can't beat it.

Mahle and I got the decals on the WRC for the Rally next month, so I snapped a few photos to use with our fundraising efforts. Not very fancy, but it conveys the general look.

3 stage buff on the camaro, and detail the interior, windows, and such. looks much better, got rid of 3 bad scratches. ill get some pics added later

Drove it through a captain car wash, I sprung for the $10 wash.

Plastidipped the exhaust manifold, did fatherly things, washed the funk off the GSX. Wheels still look ghetto when clean.

Washed the ride, destroyed some guy in a new camaro from a dig, went to walmart.
