I agree. However the ones who get attention are usually driving and passing like ass-hats. Drives me nuts to see left lane jerks poking along but I tend to just smoothly roll around them without issue. All too often I see people either blast by them or swerve through multiple lanes of traffic and that's what catches attention.

 

I pretty much go 72-74mph when just popping around town. I have my WOT spurts but am careful where and when. I also keep to the center lanes and make it a point to have someone to the left to block my line of site should I see a cop in the center median.

Tax dollars... gas... ugh. Go hang out downtown and around campus. Put a cop on every corner in Hilltop. Pulling people over for doing 80 on the way to Cincinnati is fucking stupid.

Instead of wasting our tax dollars on worrying about someone going 75 on the freeway in cars that are designed to be safe going 80+ How about you go over to the west side and clean up all the drugs dealers. You want to save lives right??? no you just want ticket revenue

I'm never worried about people who are speeding because they are probably paying attention to what they are doing. It's the daydreamers and nervous nellies going 10mph under the limit that scares me.

They were out in force between Columbus and Cleveland yesterday. Saw probably 12 or so on the way up in the AM and probably another 8-10 coming back. Even saw the plane at one point.

Saw 6 cruisers in Dublin on Friday, 3 total yesterday between Ackerman and Sawmill at different times of day, didn't seem like the overkill it was made out to be.

Wife was pulled over for no front plate on Friday, she told the officer the plate is in our POD at the warehouse because we moved and we cannot get it until August when we move into our house. He says OK I'll give you a warning, then he asked "is your address on your license current?" She said "no, I just told you we moved 2 weeks ago and will again in August." LOL I see what he was doing there.
