Browning
Looking up cheap code readers tonight and I found this one for cheap and some one on another forum says it does the job fine $17 shipped http://www.amazon.com/U480-CAN-BUS-OBDII-Diagnostic-Scanner/dp/B005FJ0BRI/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1351312183&sr=1-1&keywords=OBDII+scanner+can-bus However another member posted this. Looks badass. Any of you see anything reason why I shouldn't just get it? Looks neat http://www.ultra-gauge.com/ultragauge/index.htm
Cordell
Man thats awefully cheap, makes me leary about their quality as it seems you are too. I have a couple similar products that were a lot more expensive. Basic plug in scanners are pretty cheap anymore so the first one being some off brand like that doesn't surprise me, but if I can get a basic Mac scanner like that for $60 why wouldn't you just spend a few bucks more so you can take it somewhere and bitch if it stops working? The other thing seems a little too good to be true for $60, the Aeroforce Scangauge in my Camaro was over $250 new.
iwashmycar
I do. Works really well. Itll read codes and certainly has a wealth of info. I think there is very little a Scangauge can do that this cannot... for example I think there is a way to get a Scangauge to read the trans temp on an FJ (requires something extra maybe (i forget), but the Ultragauge cannot. I got mine in a group buy for like 46 bucks... http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a299/iwashmycar/instaphoto-1335980519045.jpg put little bumpers so that I could just push the corners of the screen and it pushes the buttons on the back http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a299/iwashmycar/IMG-20120427-00012.jpg I mainly use it to monitor the usual engine temp, ect...you can see intake temp and whatnot too. It really shines when it comes to monitoring MPG and fuel consumption. I have also seen that if anyone got one that was faulty or anything Ultragauge seemed very quick to send out a replacement. I'd recommend it!

racerx78
I used this on my MS3 mainly so i could monitor fuel pressure, intake temps, etc. It worked really well and looked in the daily light and at night. Never had any issues with it.
Browning
Woke up this morning and decided to just go with the cheap one to get me by and then ordered about $100 worth of winter clothes for my son. I still might get that one later on though.
