2006 C6 Vette hit my talon today...

...on the freeway, made me do a 360. Smoke everywhere from my tires. 2nd scariest experience of my life. I was in far right lane, he was in far left lane, truck in the middle. I passed the truck, and as I passed the truck, he (vette) shot across two lanes and into mine as I was passing the truck and nailed my talon in the rear corner panel right in front of my rear driver's side tire with his passenger's side front fender/bumper/tire, sending me into a rather traumatizing 360. Said he was trying to get over to get to the upcoming exit and didn't know I was over there. Good times.

Drove it home, but will most likely be totaled. We will see what insurance says. No one was cited, so insurance will have to duke it out. At this point I don't know if it's going to be his insurance company that pays or mine.

Yeah, the biggest thing is I was extremely blessed. Yup for all you who don't believe in God, he blessed me. I did hit a guard rail, didn't get hit by any other traffic (and there was a considerable amount) and I drove/walked away.

 

Doing a 360 on the freeway is definitely scary, but not as scary as the last accident in my old talon when the lady ran the red light at t-boned me at 55mph spinning me around and sending me up a 6" high median and hitting the steel pole supporting a giant street sign for the airport over on steltzer. That was the #1 scariest experience of my life.

You should have gotten a police report unless there is more to the story... You will have a hard time getting his insurance to accept fault, he may change his story, etc.... And your ins will have to pay your damages and then your rates will go up. But good luck, and most importantly no one was hurt!

Here is a couple pics. Also took a quick vid...sorry its chaky/crappy, I didn't want him seeing my filming his car, but if you pause at :14 you can see the damage to his car from where he hit me.

Not witnesses, only us two. No one was cited and no report, but we were each given a driver's crash report, so not insurance companies will have to fight it out.

We weren't racing. I looked at my log from right when it happened and I was only at 61% throttle

 

If we had been at a track doing some legal racing, he would have lost
