Green Bastard
http://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-hybrids/1643786-v12-ls1-build.html I thought this was cool. I would like to see the end of the project they are trying to do (LSx V12 in a 240z).

Mensan
Bolted crankshaft FTW. Far stronger than doing it right and having a customer unit forged.

byhi
Also if you read through it before yelling PHOTOSHOP!!! the guy posted a quick video walk around to show its real. I'm also impressed at how non douchey he comes across in the thread and answers people's questions nicely. That's another sure sign it's real and not photoshop

Green Bastard
I keep reading that there is a Suburban with one of these in it, but they had to lengthen the front end to fit it. But I also read that there is a company that built the v16 for Cadillac for their Sixteen concept that built a v16 for that Suburban. Is there two Suburbans or are the internets confused?
Mallard
I think Bob Lutz told that story in one of the mags when the Sixteen concept came out. GM had supposedly built that engine and the only front end long enough to hold it was a Suburban...he said it did great dough nuts.
