This is why meteorologists forecasting for Columbus have ulcers. This is a simulated radar (off the HRRR model) for 6am Friday. This shows that Columbus is right on the dividing line of snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain. Even the models just throw their cards in the air. LOL

It's going to start falling soon and when it does its going to dump.

When the weatherman says snow everyone expects to look outside and see snow right away.

I look at what the time they say the snow/ice/frogs are supposed to fall, and when its doing a whole bunch of nothing I question their ability.

Be safe out there at the airport, if things get crazy you are going to be earning that check :fuckyeah:

Aviationweather.gov is my favorite site but holy fuck you need at least 3 masters degrees to understand it completely.

C'mon, cmon, cmon....

Ok, let's say it dumps a few inches. Anyone have a giant parking lot or similar planned out to meet for some snow fun and/or races? It looks like the south may actually get hit harder than the north side for once.

Latest snowfall forecast still calling for 4-8 inches of snow by sunset with an additional 1-3 inches after sunset and before midnight when the snow ends. Total accumulations in Franklin county could approach 10 inches. Let me know when you see the snow picking up in your neighborhood.
