TurboGoKart
I got some drill bits handed down to me from a passed relative. I got a few normal sets and a few random ones that I have no idea what they're for. Does anyone know what these are supposed to be used for?? http://i1317.photobucket.com/albums/t639/turbogokart/C100B5CF-9666-4F2B-B2EA-8DD652998A71_zpsrflon6gl.jpg http://i1317.photobucket.com/albums/t639/turbogokart/C4D00433-05DA-490D-83DE-D0FD561EB499_zpsd5ihgvxf.jpg http://i1317.photobucket.com/albums/t639/turbogokart/679BB3F1-27EE-488D-B3BE-12955F3CAA05_zpsv325rjt3.jpg
Benner
Looks like multiple concrete/masonry bits, a step bit and a honing bit. However i could be mistaken.
dakotart
Here's my opinion: Far left looks like a carbide grinder bit 2nd left looks like concrete bit middle is a "reamer" bit 2nd from right I'm not sure far right is concrete
TurboGoKart
What is a case where you would need a threaded concrete bit?
Mojoe
Here's my opinion: middle is a "reamer" bit That's the only one I recognize. My dad use to work for a machine shop that manufactured these. His just was to put the finishing touches on them after sharpening them with a diamond wheel. Green Bastard
What is a case where you would need a threaded concrete bit? Looks like it is for concrete to me too, the threads are probably there to pull the dust and debris to the surface.
Troy2285
The far right bit is for busting thou re-bar in concrete, a normal concrete bit wont cut steel

TurboGoKart
What's the reamer bit for? Metal or wood?

That's what I was thinking. Looks like a bit I use with my air grinder.

Green Bastard
The far right bit is for busting thou re-bar in concrete, a normal concrete bit wont cut steel The concrete bits we use here at work (that look nothing like those) will go through rebar (though the bits are usually 3/4" or smaller and it is a pita). wnaplay1647545503
Second bit looks like a hss or high speed steel bit. 5Th one is a carbide concrete bit.

TurboGoKart
Don't know for sure. I'll throw it on the drill and find out tonight. That was my thought too; some kind of hone.
