My wife gives me quite the nudge when she feels we’re going too fast. Since I want her to continue to ride I back off and just laugh.

Pegs hit and fold, you got another couple of inches before it hits a hard stop. That said, welcome to the world of bikes that you can't drag an elbow on. They all hit that hard limit eventually and start to lift the rear tire. New wing is in the future hopefully. Spending my money on a 28x40 outbuilding this summer. I’ve never had the CBR hit 🤷♂️. I used to wonder if I’d be better off with a slower bike. I now know I prefer a bike that is above what I’m willing to push it to. Dragging pegs was scary on the Concours. When the Wing touches down and unweights the rearend that is beyond scary. There are some slow bikes you can ride fast but the wing isnt one of them. I think you'd really enjoy track riding.

Not Brian
Got rid of my six year-old all-seasons for some proper Pilot Sport 4Ss and cruised around on these clouds in the awesome weather. I should have done this a long time ago.

durk
Not sure what you boys did all wInter but here is my project. As all of you know I’m cheap and I didn’t want to spend $10,000 plus to have the Trans Am repainted so I did some bodywork myself and wrapped the whole car in high gloss black 3M. It turned out pretty well. The bumpers no longer have spider cracks, the passenger door no longer has a key mark in it, or bubbles, and the hood no longer has bubbles in it. It’s not quite perfect but it looks dang good in the sunlight. Edited March 11, 2025 by durk
Not Brian
Reminds me of my old heap. Throw as much BMR shit underneath that you can afford to make it handle almost as well as a new Honda Civic before adding too much power or you'll die. Also drill tiny holes in your front turn signals or they'll fill up with water. Don't forget to replace your pinion seal every 30k miles or less. Took it out Friday night for the 1st drive, stopped to get gas about 15 miles from home, went to start it and no crank. Fiddled a bit with it at the gas station and no go. Had to have it hauled home on a rollback. Dug into it today and found the ground wire on the starter was separated. Repaired the ground, through it back in and she fired right up.

MSerfozo
I installed a Carplay/Android Auto upgrade kit in my 10 year old Acura MDX. It was a relatively easy upgrade once I figured out how to remove the trim on half of the dash and fish a microphone wire from the overhead console and down the A-pillar. So far, this Chinese made kit is meeting all my expectations.
