That sux, let's say the guy is honest - it was an accident, he had sweat in his eyes from cutting down the rest of the tree, exhaustion, whatever, he's got to be hating himself if he really loved her.

Now let's say the guy was just looking for an opportunity to off her - can you imagine being the judge/jury who let him go if he's another serial wife killer like Mr. Peterson from Chicago on wife #5 and the first 4 either dead or disappeared suspiciously.
