Im off tomorrow but I have an interview in Columbus at 2pm.. would it be professional to ride up to Columbus for the interview? Guess my hair would be kinda whack and maybe shirt a little wrinkled but I dont want to miss out on the beautiful day...thoughts?
magley64
ride, always ride...carry a brush for your hair, and be careful about how you put on your jacket...
V4junkie
Sorry dude, your first impression is key for an interview. Look as good as you can possible look. So helmet hair and wrinkly shirt are a no no. If you can find a way to do both more power to ya, but one super slab highway ride isn't worth hurting your chances of getting the job. Of course it also depends on the interviewer, if he rides you score points. That's quite the gamble.
flounder
Is it worth riding to you to risk not getting a job because of how you look? (wrinkled shirt, messed up hair, etc)Answer that question for yourself.

Tomcat0403
Ride, go with the gamble and say you are trying to be eco-friendly. That way if he is a hippie you win, or if he rides you win too!
SchmuckGirl
I would advise no..... you really have no idea as to the interviewer's perception of motorcycles so why risk any strikes against you....

RVTPilot
My $.02...drive, don't ride. Make the best first impression you can, impress them with the bike afterwards. Celebrate the new job by picking up a 1098 or something.
natedogg624
don't ride. the interviewer could have known someone in a motorcycle accident and you'd just bring back bad memories.thats worst case scenario of course...

max power
I rode to my last interview. got the job. neither boss rode, till then. They loved the bike and one of them got a KLR shortly after. Of course, I lost that job recently due to downsizing.
EagleCock
I would ride and pack interview clothes in backpack, find somewhere to change and clean up before you arrive. Just don't get speeding ticket or arrive late

I think thats what he was getting at.Personally I would ride, but my hair is 1/8 of an inch long so it doesn't mess and I wouldn't fuss too much about the shirt having a wrinkle or two

zerocrash
I rode to my last job interview and got the job. Granted the fact that it was at a motorcycle dealership could have had something to do with it..
vroddave
i would ride. just leave your helmet on the bike. and just make sure that fro is strait when you get there your shirt shouldn't wrinkle that bad. if you sit in a car for an hour just think how wrinkled the back of your shirt is gonna b. Us bank has a large enough parking lot that they wouldn't even see you pull in.

AOW
might be too little too late, but.....When I've ridden to interviews or important meetings I would take a shirt to cleaners/laundry service and have it heavy starched, folded, and bagged. (same way they come in the store when folded) Pack that shirt in your bag along w/your sport coat/suit coat. Once on site, swap out clothing in burger king bathroom.
