Which are the better ones around the IN/OH border by Cincy?I think theres a place called Hollywood. Thats the only big name casino I know of. Where do you normally stay? I went a few months ago, its really nice since they remodeled and they do have a hotel on the grounds. If Im not mistaken theres several motels along the road leading up to the Casino aswell. Not sure how much your taking to gamble with but if its alot maybe you could talk to the pit boss about getting a room comp'ed? Btw, the hotel and the casino are connected via a covered walkway so theyre not very far from each other and its pretty convenient not to have to drive over. Wolf Posted February 1, 2010 Report Share Posted February 1, 2010 Hollywood has the nicest casino. Very vegas like with entertainment, and such. Belterra has the best buffet, but the casino is quite a bit smaller. Over toward the East, if interested, is Wheeling Island in WV. That place isn't bad either, always come home with more $ then I came in with here. Decent casino, and food. No matter where you go, look for someplace to sleep away from the casino, and you'll get decent prices. Casino rooms can be 100-300 easily. A couple miles away 40-60.
