Cycle Search International is seeking someone to help build our service department and provide customers with excellent and friendly service! We are seeking a person with three years experience in the motorcycle industry with either service and/or sales experience. If you don’t have this experience but have something significant to offer, I may consider, but first read on!

This position involves:

1. Developing service sales. Developing a service lead into a service order-this is SALESMANSHIP! You will be selling in-person, on the phone, making calls to future customers and former customers. You need to know how to work a lead.

2. Accurate diagnosis of repair. We need someone who understands the mechanics of motorcycles, someone who can accurately diagnosis problems and symptoms. Diagnosis is KEY to a successful shop (this is the experience part we talk about above).

3. Processing service orders. This includes ordering parts, communicating and managing the service work order with the technician and/or with outside service providers, and correspondence with customer. This is the grunt work that makes service successful!

4. Delivery of service, which includes quality checks, customer check-out and processing, follow-up phone calls to customers and problem-resolution.

This position requires:

1. Good Attitude. Enough said!

2. Drivers License (without major violations). Motorcycle endorsement is necessary; you will have to test ride motorcycles. Sorry no DUIs.

3. Available to work full-time. Work in season is 45-50 hours, off season is 35-40 hours.

4. Common sense and a good business sense. The ideal candidates will show they understand basic principles of sales and service production.

5. Team player. All departments have to run and work well together.

Pay structure:

Pay will be based on the individual’s qualifications. There pay structure is salary plus commission on service sales. Pay range is $30,000-35,000 for the first year.

We are a small shop with a very promising future and positive outlook. We have a good reputation for honesty, good service and products in the local riding community. Look us up on the web and see what other people say about us. Now, if you are seeking opportunity and challenge, have some of these characteristics, experience and skills, and seek a dynamic, fast-paced environment, please submit your resume to rayso@800390bike.com. This is a key position for our shop and we want a key player!
