Changed the widest tire yet today..

My buddy eden bought a fat tire kit from SUMO Fats and he received his wheel and tire the other day. he brought it over to me today to see if i could get it mounted.

i didnt know if i would be able to, but i wanted to give it a try.

he went from a stock honda fury wheel and 200mm rear tire to a SUMO rear wheel (in honda OEM look) and 260mm rear tire

260mm tire next to the stock 200mm

If you got a NoMar, you can do car tires, too...

I did the tires on our G35 and the 255 rears and 245 fronts were a bit of a bitch. Almost gave up as the sidewalls are KILLER tough and hard to get up over the lip of the wheel and even tougher to get started on the machine. NoMar's video library had a car tire being done and they used little wooden blocks to keep the sidewalls pressed down to the middle of the rims.

Worked great and was easy getting off.

Mannn... I wish I had a 260 on my 900rr.... Cause my tire is really round looking, and that makes it fall over.... but with a 260 I think all my problems would be solved!

Try changing a 300... and on a machine like mine you have to have the changer clamp the rim and just change it manually because the arm doesnt clear the top lol.... good times...

I tend to agree.

to me, bikes with huge rear tires are like strippers with double-H implants. It's only sexy up to a certain point. After that, it's just cartoonish.

that doesn't look converted... but it would be easy to add a CV joint to clear any tire.
