My best guess, is they nailed him with the Bolded and underlined violation below.i forget the actual equation for it, but for a certain speed, i do believe they can add extra points on...its 2pts for a certain amount over, 4pts, 6pts, etc etc etc....went over it in my court mandatory driving class a few years ago....a ticket that big would make perfect sense to be 6pts, even if it was just speeding**Edit just saw that he admitted to it being fake, but i do believe you can get a 6pt speeding ticket...its been awhile since that class though, going to have to look it up now****double edit... guess i stand corrected....there is a system for it, but 4pt is max.. 30mph over or more is 4pts, less than 30 over is 2pts Edited April 8, 2010 by Steve Butters Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
