obesityrules
well i checked out 555 and 78 yesterday to see how this past weeks rain was cleaning stuff up. 555 between 37 and 78 was in excellent condition. south of 78 it was crap as usual, expect big piles of loose gravel in every blind turn. 555 started to clear up as you entered chesterville. we ate lunch at the diner in chesterville (not bad, they have massive bacon cheeseburgers) and headed back up 555 to 78, i think i spotted jbot and a couple other member parked as we were heading out of town. 78 was in great shape, we linked that back to 216>93>664. the vmax captured a video of 555 between 37 and 78, looks like the shaft drive had a little trouble with on of the tighter turns (doh)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpZiMkbvj30
max power
Its not the shaft drive that affects the Vmax in tight turns, its the heft.
mello dude
Its not the shaft drive that affects the Vmax in tight turns, its the heft.My short ride on a Max was like in every corner, the bike felt like it was going - "oh you want me to turn?'.... DAC
Looks like a great ride! Good thing that gravel truck (at 5:55) wasn't there at the wrong moment.
Uncle Punk
That was us you saw in Chesterhill. I remember seeing the VMax go by. We decided to head home from there and not go back up 555 so we took 377 out of there to 266. both good roads that I have never been on. Disclaimer
^^^^You went out again this weekend?? You sly dog... You more cognizant of airplanes this time?
Uncle Punk
It's hard to go fast when you're looking up in the sky for airplanes. Wooster will not be getting any more money from me this summer.
snodgrass23
I was out there yesterday with my brothers as well. We took 40 out to Zanesville and jumped on 555 from there. We road down to 78 where we took it over to McConnelsville to eat dinner and grab a picture at the big bucket.
max power
My short ride on a Max was like in every corner, the bike felt like it was going - "oh you want me to turn?'....But thats not from the shaft drive, its because the bike is a pig. 617# is alot to throw around in the corners all day, but it can be done.
