redkow97
I like a Ducati. Aren't they supposedly not very reliable, though? That's my main concern... The Triumph looks nice, too though.I think Ducati's get a bad rap because when they DO break, they can be expensive to fix. From my limited experience with them (i.e. I know people who own them), it's all about having a good shop or dealership near by.That said, I think they're "quirky," but not unreliable. A dry-clutch V-twin is just going to have different problems than a wet-clutch I-4. I wouldn't shy away from them due to reliability issues; especially not one as new as you're looking for. redrocket04
Good deal... I've found a couple of 848's I'm getting info on. A little over my "budget", but if I like it, I'm pretty sure I can convince myself it's ok. I thought the 848 is a wet clutch... Who's wrong here? Problem is, I would love it too much to sell it, and not ride it enough to keep it. Ultimately, I know I need a VFR, but I so want something this sexy (and cheap!!) ohdaho
My next bike should the market ever recover...again...will be a new Duc 848 or the Ape RSV4 in pearl. Those bikes are pure sex. I would lean towards the RSV4 just because of the sexy short tail.

Still want one, regardless of what I could actually buy for that amount of cash. Truth be told, I like that design MUCH more than that of the 10-1198. Xyloft
Triumph Daytona 675 fits everything you are looking for, I think. not going to lie, if i could have afforded it, I would be on an 848 instead. probably the 848 dark. how about an aprilia mille ?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rare-Factory-Mille-Ohlins-and-radial-brakes-/130394204778?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item1e5c19aa6a
