fazer1sniper
We pulled the Radian in the game room this weekend to finish it up. Builtside covers out of ABS black sheet & finished all the wiring. I call it done.
ponyjr
how did you form the abs to the right shape? bike looks great love the paint job, new take on a classic.
fazer1sniper
I just passes over the ABS with a propane torch and bent it into the shape I wanted. Step outside in the cold and it stiffens up quick.
Fonzie
Love how you put a modern take on the old bikes. I like your taste so much, I'd actually be comfortable just supplying you an old bike, & letting you do your thing, sight unseen with no input from me! My next planned build is gonna be outside my comfort zone. Going old school. Anybody know what kind of steel tube I need to get to hard tail an old Yamaha XS400? fazer1sniper
OK, REAL PAIN IN THE ASS NOW. The carbs had Issues. Dumping fuel out the intakes. So I figure "float needles". Tore them off, again, cleaned EVERYTHING, again, and reinstalled. SAME THING! I guessing bad floats and float vales.. OK.... Now can I find a rebuild kit for a set of 1986 YX600 Carbs???? NOOOO! Any input on a sorce for these parts would be a big help. Thanks!
Helmutt
Possibly retrofit newer comparable carbs of similar size and rejet to suit the engine demands?
fazer1sniper
Thought of that. may be the only option if I cant find more rebuild parts.
