8mmDale
If this isn't music to your ears...well I'm sorry That bike is beautiful. I love 40's HD's.My bike is loud because I want old people to not run me over. I've had a shit load of close calls, and I'd really like to come home in one piece every time. ReconRat
You know, I would care about this, if it weren't for the understanding that loud sounds/noise cause considerable fatigue. Both on the roadway and for pilots in the air. That is a fact, and it's well documented. Nothing wrong with performance mods, but I think I'd like a removable baffle in case I wanted to switch back and forth.
Earache
http://motorcyclementor.com/motorcycle-myth-loud-pipes-save-lives/Yup - funny how so many HD guys say loud pipes save lives but then they wear fuck all for proper safety gear. Half helmets and chaps made of thin assed fashion leather. Fuckin' wankers.

wantahertzdonut
I'm on the fence about all of this. I like a nice sound but earsplitting noise is very irritating. With that said I'm all for expression on a bike but I think there needs to be some self-imposed restraint if only because there's more non-riders than riders, and when they bitch loud enough, they'll drown out our noise.I just try to keep it down in neighborhoods. I don't want to be a target!
