steppenwolf
No poofing:D Actually not that big of a deal..drilling out valve cover bolt, drop cloth got moved a bit and some metal dropped down but they are heavier than oil and drops to oil pan, drain bolt has a magnet, pump has a screen and have an oil filter..oil and filter changed at 150 miles..problem solved...This is what was important last sunday.. max power
I didnt take any pics but there are some on the main board. Nice drain plug. Should run better without all that pesky metal in the way.
ReconRat
Me still riding. And shall till I see the salt on the road. And if I had a cheap junker bike, I'd ride in the salt. But not the ice. It's just not fair having to put up the bike for a couple of months in Ohio. Maybe global warming will fix that, I can only hope... magley64
Haven't ridden since july... No tire money... But on a good note all of my bills are on time now, and I paid my dad back almost half of what I borrowed.

magley64
Dude, I'd buy you a tire if you were that short on cash. LOL, thanks, but I'm fine.I got my priorities straight. On the bright side, in spite of the recent challenges in my life, I didn't have to sell my bike, and I wasn't late on any payments on my house.I consider that a big win.I'm pretty fortunate, and I'll have Ember at full strength come spring time. New treads, new chain/sprockets, fresh oil, fresh brakes... Plus I'll have some vacation days and floating holidays to burn so i can actually get some rides in. Might even finally make it to the gap.
