MarkB
I'm planning to take a looooong ride on Sunday for some chicken wings. Going to leave Lyndhurst area around 8am, heading to Buffalo NY to visit the Anchor Bar, maybe head up in to Canada if the mood hits... or just hang around the Falls. Lots of options... heading back and catching dinner somewhere along the way.Combination back roads and highway...Hit me up if you want to join in! lammiepie615
Do you have a map of the route?
MarkB
Not yet... But a rought route is 90 > rt 20 (to avoid the tolls), in to downtown Buffalo to the Anchor. After that I don't have a set plan yet.... I can try and come up with one if that would help?
speedytriple
since it's a sunday I might be interested?

conn-e-rot
I'd suggest taking a look at rt 5 instead of rt 20 they run parallel but rt 5 is a little more rural and not as many traffic lights parts of it run along Lake Erie and it takes you right into Buffalo.http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Lyndhurst,+OH&daddr=41.95248,-80.40351+to:42.01592,-80.36938+to:42.2293693,-79.8645831+to:42.5261966,-79.2527559+to:Buffalo,+NY&hl=en&ll=42.031954,-80.317612&spn=0.290201,0.429153&sll=42.482732,-79.319916&sspn=0.288134,0.429153&geocode=FbSLeQIdpJQk-ynFtWY6IgIxiDHUfXLdfkxkzA%3BFeAkgAIdyiM1-yl1oHC4U2wyiDFXxddwNp1tow%3BFbAcgQIdHKk1-ymDwx05JHIyiDHbatmrcG6MbA%3BFXlehAId-Vw9-ymd2rFrr2UtiDHlZnu4F4mV7w%3BFfTliAId7bJG-yll7myJztHSiTHVp_h_W28YFg%3BFS9ljgIdX2lM-ymh5d9SYRLTiTFxgR8YpQQjmA&mra=dpe&mrsp=4&sz=11&via=1,2,3,4&z=
MarkB
I like it.... Rt5 is fine with me, probably some nice views of the lake along the way.
conn-e-rot
If you still wanted to get off rt 90 at 45 you just follow 20 into PA about 2 miles after state line there is a fork and that's where rt 5 starts.
MarkB
Thank for the tip, I appreciate it. I'm really flexible on this trip as I have no time table other than that I have to be at work on Monday and somewhat conscious and coherent. I'd love it if a couple people tagged along. Bad324
Same here. The route is way too straight and long for memy feelings even tho I'd still probably go if I had the time. Alas I'll be up far too late to make that meet time as well as won't be back in time to play in the playoffs Edited August 3, 2011 by Bad324
