speedytriple
Hey Kent I need to bring the AR down to your place to do some shooting I think LOL!
Howabusa
I really need to get my backstop built up. There is an outdoor range a few miles from my house too.I really like the Mossberg tactical 22 I got, fun & cheap to shoot.
Howabusa
I also need enough ammo to fill the Ammo box I got from Cabela's today!
speedytriple
They were selling bulk pack .22lr by the case at the last gun show. 5000 rnds of .22lr should last ya for a little while.
vf1000ride
I know where there is a Garand that might be for sale. But I might take it, too:)I already have 2 garands. I am keeping my match grade one pristine and converting my post war gun to the scout rifle style.
speedytriple
I want a m1 garand tanker conversion. kinda like this one would be nice...
vf1000ride
If I remember correctly, that gun was done by Warbird Custom Guns. I was looking at getting mine done by Shuff's Parkerizing. He makes the custom tankers and also does the 308 conversion so they hold an M1A box mag.
speedytriple
Thats what I want the .308 m1a conversion. Would also like a nice war era m1 garand that is all original.

speedytriple
Yeah but the guy who does the conversions has stopped doing them for now I think?
vf1000ride
This is the general concept of what I am doing to mine. The scope rail is already on the gun and the muzzle brake is on order. I still need to buy the Eotech and actually have the gun shortened up.That Shuff's Parkerizing still does the mag fed garand conversions.http://shuffsparkerizing.com/services/mag-fed-garand/mag-fed-garand/

speedytriple
Yeah that is a timberwolf. Guy I work with just got back from his 5th tour and was talking how bad ass they are I started looking into them and kinda drooled a little. The sticker shock is not as bad as I thought it would be, it would run around $6300 for the gun. But thats way more then I would spend on a rifle. LOL!I think my next gun will be a savage bolt gun in .308, maybe if I sell my mini now that I bought my AR-15?

speedytriple
For as little as I would use a bolt gun I am thinking more like a off the shelf savage model 11 with a heavy barrel and a accu trigger with a nice leupold, and a harris bi pod on it.
