Hollywood33
I'm not sure yet. It's either gonna be Pirelli, Dunlop, or Bridgestone slicks. I wanna run the Pirelli's cause they're bad ass, but it would also be nice to try for some contingency.
blue03636
If you want contingency I would go Dunlop personally.
r1crusher
Pirelli FTW. Get onboard or get 8th place.
The Murse
I will be on the darkside all season. Pirelli ftw! It's not like I have a prayer of winning contingency in my class anyways lol. Also, I ordered some new goodies to help me not have to quit this year.
r1crusher
I got some goodies also...but it will require me to learn reverse shift pattern.
The Murse
GP shift is the bee's knees.
madcat6183
Fact, if you aren't running GP you honestly are losing time, I 100% believe that. Like Brandon at Jennings going into the kink, leaned over to the left, can't really grab an up shit(yes shit), at 120+ leaned over unless its GP.But yeah, I have 1 day left on my Mich front and unless the prices come down on those I may have to swap to the dark side too. I just wanna go fast and ass rape all of you. PS What was this thread about or does that even matter at his point?
Hollywood33
^Doesn't matter. The Pirelli's are better than the Michelin's anyway, IMO. I'm just worried about the 190 rear with the Dunlop, I don't know why really. (They only come in 190, correct?)
madcat6183
Its like a small 190, and I think the US 190 is basically a 185ish.But yeah, that's what Craig said too, and with Todd selling them, I like to help the local/track guys. Hollywood, what event are we going full homo?

Bill also noticed that the wear is not as good as the 'lops.
jbot
tires are soooooo expensiiiiiive why did i have to run out of my michelin power races?!1!1!
blue03636
I can't complain about the pirelli wear, I got a shit load of races and trackdays out of mine. I would say they are on par with the michelins for wear, I have never ran the dunlops.
madcat6183
Craig, you only ran like 5 days last year....Edit; this is me ruining Craigs life.
blue03636
I only did 4-5 races. Add in the mondays, beaver trackday only weekend and Mido day (jinu's bike but my tires).

And how much is a set of these normally?Edit: I got pretty good wear from the Pirelli's, definitely waaaaay better than the Michelin's. The rear I have at stock height right now because 35motorsports told me to try that first since the 09 gets more chatter if you put too much weight bias towards the front.Bill came from Dunlops and tried Pirellis and just wasn't really expecting the wear difference. He also didn't change any set up on the bike from when he ran the Dunlops. He just adjusted the Pirellis psi to the recommended setting. r1crusher
It would take much less effort for you to destroy his bike. It is after all a gixxer and you have the touch of death when it comes to those.A simple "I'm gonna come over there and sit on you" stare should make it just commit suicide on the spot.
