  2. How i spent my weekend. 34 miles on the Alleghany river. We do this trip every year exploring different parts of the river. Camp on the islands. Except for the major suburn (even applying SPF50 multiple time)s and the 90F+ heat, it was another awesome year! Time to start planning next years trip.

  3. I don't know about 56,but if you're heading down this way don't miss 78 from Glouster to Malta.IMO this is the best part of 78 and it was paved late last fall.Big Fun!!!I ride it two or three times a week. Did I send you a p.m. last fall about some other roads down here that were paved last year?A few of them would be on your way down and easy to include in your route. I'll try to get down to 56 in the next few days.Anything else you need scouted?

  5. One of the coolest parts of this resort is its all high tech. Reserved and checked in online. PIN on the door is last four of my phone number. Actually have not met or talked to anyone that actually works here. Perfect for me since I hate people.

  7. Joe and Derek, I think Scott (SMccrory) and Jeff both on DR650 want to ride Wayne on Monday. We have not set a time or Start place yet but keep an Eye out for an update. We can start at Bagley campground and do camp ohio first to get warmed up and comfortable and jump on the Maine and head to dorr run. Brian. Early Monday or after 1pm..

  8. Stay on Dorr Run Loop, Main Corridor and those lower rated trails and you will be fine even wi dual sport tires unless it rains. Plenty of mileage, and once you get settled you can run up toward New Straitsville. Plenty of roads to cut off onto so you can ride around. Stay off Long Ridge and poorly marked or Enduro marked trails. Remember to get a pass Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  14. I'm hoping to be there, probably around the same time if so. Silver Bonneville, black/blue/orange HJC logo helmet with shaved head underneath. Pretty easy to recognize I live maybe two miles away.

  16. I ordered a header pipe and slip on for my XR from MSS on the morning of 6/24. Both were assigned UPS tracking #'s by EOD and the header delivered yesterday while the slip on tracking still says "ready for UPS pickup" as it has for the last few days. WTF? Only reason I ordered there is I had a points "credit" to use. I wanted to have that shit on the bike and running well (may need to re-jet) by this weekend. Fuckers.

  20. Hunting for idle is a classic symptom of lean condition. Not sure exactly how your bike is set up, but if it uses a closed loop system with an o2 sensor it's probably sensing that your exhaust is crazy lean and dumping lots of fuel (or at least as much as it can trim, usually 20%) into the bike which helps but doesn't help enough to read stoichiometric at the o2 sensor. I'm no efi wizard tho, more of a carburetor guy. Problem is, a guy with more engineering degrees on his wall than you designed the exhaust for that bike, but you decided you knew better than him. Put a good stock exhaust on it and all will be right, or spend a few grand on a full system and a fuel controller and a day of dyno tuning and enjoy the gains.

  23. Yosh pipes offer like zero restriction. It's a straight through design. Aftermarket headers will flow better than stock, or they at least better considering the price. End result: even leaner.

  27. Probably not if he's going from a straight unrestricted pipe to one with at least some restriction. The bike is running too lean.

  28. A full aftermarket system will make it worse until it's dyno tuned.

  29. Welcome to the OR! A lot of good people here who can give you some suggestions. You may want to post in the Tech & Tips thread to get some more looks on your issue.

  31. Fuel injected bikes hate when you mess with intake and exhaust. I'd find a good stock muffler and put it on, see if it solves your issue.

  32. Hi and welcome. Sounds like an exhaust leak. 3 foot piece of 3/8" vinyl hose one end in your ear and other end in your other hand. Bike running.....go find it.

  33. Wife and I have used ours every time we ride together since buying the set last season. They're awesome devices that allow you to do most anything hands free. Plan to upgrade my gps to one that will BT through the 20S so I can quit making wrong turns at every Epic Ride and Gap trip. The pro is that I can talk to my wife.....the con is that I can hear my wife talk

  34. Sweet! Looking forward to hitting 1-4 combo again, even though the full track is awesome. You should let me take that 650 for a few laps and you can take the 750 out.
