  1. Installed led flashing brake lights and led headlights in the FJR. Got another windshield for the MT and got it installed as well. FJR is packed and I'm heading for virginia beach tomorrow around noon after work.

  3. For everyone else except the two rump rangers go the way below. 14 miles of 26 (slab) and you can pick up 208, 212, 209 and so on. Then cut through Maggie Valley and the BRP and come in near Gatlinburg to Townsend. Yea, the last part will be a bit lame with traffic along the river, if you want to skip that head to Franklin from Maggie, have dinner at Cafe Rel then up 26 to the Gap then Townsend. https://goo.gl/maps/QhXHkKz59wC2

  4. @cmh_sprint and I are riding down for the Gap trip again this year. I think @OsuMj is joining. Possibly @marlboro man also. Anyone else want to join? We’re taking two days down; leaving Wednesday morning from Pickerington and arriving Thursday afternoon/early evening. As much two lane as possible. We’ll stay at a hotel/motel somewhere near the middle. Medium-ish pace, probably in the 10-20 over range. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Updated Info Who's going (I think this is correct so far): @cmh_sprint @Casper @OsuMj @marlboro man @Tpoppa @Blitz Day 1: Meet at my house in Pickerington between 8:30 - 9:00am. I'll have coffee and probably donuts or something. Rolling out around 9:30am. Pickerington, OH to Abingdon, VA (353 miles) - https://goo.gl/maps/Wbc48gn5dzt Day2: Option 1 Abingdon to Townsend via Skyway (334 miles) - https://goo.gl/maps/2JeBTHaGdLq Option 2 Abingdon to Townsend via 441 (237 miles) - https://goo.gl/maps/FkAA9qqH2kz Wednesday night lodging: Fairfield Inn Abingdon 923 East Main Street Abingdon, Virginia 24210 https://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/triab-fairfield-inn-and-suites-abingdon/

  5. The 4th annual memorial ride for my late brother, Nathan, will be on Saturday June 16, rain date June 17. Meeting at Buffalo Wild Wings in Cambridge, Oh between 9-9:30 kick stands up by 10. The 150 mile route has been mapped out heading southwest on state routes 660, 313, 146, 60, 669, 555, 78, 13, 22, 668 and 40. I will confirm it once killer_kaw and I have checked the route. We will end up back in Cambridge for the after party and bike show. Obviously you can peel off anytime you need to. Typical OR fashion, medium/medium fast and there will also be a slower group if you would prefer.

  13. Got my Kona back. First ride of the year. First since @TimTheAzn rode with me last year. Felt great to be in the woods again. I didn't even crash today.

  14. It is possible to have kids and enjoy motorcycling. I don't ride like I used to. While I don't blame anyone for not riding while they have little kids, it is possible to have both. I couldn't make it to the Epic Ride, because of a promise to my kids.
