  5. July 14 ADV ride with BikeRiderMark and Max Power who was joining us on his first ADV ride. I can attest that he has the Knowledge, Skills and Abilities to handle any off road ADV stuff. Sorry it took so long to download this short video but my equipment was in error. You can see O.R's Max leading a few section showing grace and agility while B-Mac tipped over and crashed on more that one occasion. I was off my game all day. enjoy.

  20. I have AMA. It covers any vehicle as well. Called them a couple times for keys locked in vehicle. What I would tell you in those instances is it will be awhile before they get there. I think they have a limited number of providers. I use them because for $50 a year it also supports a group that looks out for motorcyclists and lobbies for your rights as a rider.

  21. So i actually checked this specifically, cause a buddy of mine had AAA and it only covered 15 miles unless you had a higher rate package. AMA is 35 miles, which seems good IMO.

  22. I'd check the coverages because when Pauly ran into the issue with his supersport failing, he had to get it towed. I believe he was using riders insurance with roadside assistance but they literally only covered like 10 miles. He ended up using someone elses AAA card and got him much further. Just pay attention to what the roadside assistance is because that's important.

  23. Some of the AMA political battles goes against the interest of some riders. Like sound checks for off road riders. Some like their bikes loud and don't see the need to limit the noise at events. So for some it becomes a matter of not feeling properly represented. I used to dislike the support the AMA gave the HArley stigma of no gear, bad ass drunk pirate being the coolest rider. Since then I've seen the issue die (literally) as rider saftey became their greater concern. I've also liked the added support and representation that Dual Sport riding has received so it isn't just lumped in with the moto x rider crowd. I've had to use the road side assistance once for my car. Made the membership very worth while.

  24. Worse than that... I re-upped my AAA online one year and had to create a AA online account. Selected RV coverage. 6 months later I break down on the bike and they refuse to tow me because I wasn't paid up. After arguing for an hour I finally had to pay a 3rd party tow company almost $200 to tow me. "Even if you renew now, we won't tow you today." Got home and checked my bank statements - no AAA payments. Went online, the online AAA account was there but listed as not paid. When I went through the payment option again it again gave me the "welcome to AAA" message at the end but in fine red print at the bottom it said; "Card could not be charged". That's obviously what happened first time too. I called up and went through the same process and the card worked fine when the operator did it. Although the error was on their website I couldn't get a refund because I couldn't prove it was an error 6 months ago. Although at the end of the day AAA is losing money on me and my plethora of old beaters, so the best way to piss them off is continue to over-use their services.
