I don't usually do this but. Shut the fuck up about things you know nothing about. It greatly discredits any chance of possible valuable content you might offer. The O.P. makes some valid points and some totally stupid ones. We all ride in different ways on different bikes and take away from the experience what we need. Not one of us is any better than the next guy because of our choices. I can define my own set of criteria to exclude the vast majority of people here that don't conform to how I would do things. That would make me an elitist douche nobody wants to become an elitist douche do they?

Not one of my friends that are in MC clubs are posers or losers and if you think I don't know the difference you are sadly mistaken. If your understanding of MC clubs is a show you might need to take the cock out of your mouth and quit thinking it gave you some insight, anymore than "Cops" shows you how real LE is. I have good lifelong friends that are LE and members of MC clubs none of them are losers. There are dumbasses in both organizations to be sure but it certainly doesn't define the whole group. I would never belong to either group because they are both too organized and have way too many rules that I seem to have no ability or desire to follow.

This "drafting" technique you speak of is not safe and shouldn't be part of a protect the public mentality; at a minimum it borders harassment. It is one of the reasons I quit allowing our local police department to get close to me on a motorcycle. Stated earlier, initiate a lights on safe distance stop. Trolling for something wrong by putting a rider in jeopardy is criminal. Do you stop people for open carrying just to see if you can find something wrong to jam them up?

Upon further review I can see the problem being more complex than the video revealed. However my off-road bike is kind of a cheater bike for that type of situation. I would have been pissed at myself if I would have needed to put a foot down to make it over the log.

What is wrong with some people? Smart enough to figure his way out of a simple problem, stupid enough not to be able to think outside of his perceived boundaries of the problem. Common problem faced when trail riding. I would have been down the trail before he had the first branch cleared off.

I live in North Ridgeville and Elyria depending on our schedules. I got so tired of being hassled by the N.R.P.D. over the years that I have quit extending them the courtesy of stopping for them or obliging their desires when riding a motorcycle. The guys are dangerous and I decided not to be subject to their reckless behavior. It got so bad at one point that the prosecutor let me off of a legitimate car ticket because of a prior bullshit ticket that he changed at the time to a non moving violation. I ride the exact same way in Elyria without so much as a second look.

Be aware that State Farm has zero medical coverage with their motorcycle policies.

The gap is so much more fun on a scooter than a bike. I was passing cruisers going down hill with the 150 and passing sport bikes going down hill on the 250. No shifting just gas and brakes. The cruiser guys think it's funnier to get passed than the sport bike guys. The cruiser guys sit behind you and laugh when you go back up hill, some of the sport bike guys have to pass you back. I could ride the gap with just the scooter and not think I wasted my time going down there.
