it's also important to remember that you have an advantage: TWO dogs. if they're able to interact when you're not around what are you worried about? Nothing in the world a dog loves more than playing with other dogs. It's why i cant wait to get a 2nd so someone else can wear my current dog out. lol.

like has been said, the most annoying part of any dog is the first year or so. shittin in the house, pissing on the bed, ripping holes in your bedsheets, eating your cheesehead!, gnawing your cell phone (still works btw), ingesting your xbox live headset (and maybe ps3 bluetooth too)... etc. just don't beat yourself up over it, reprimand them when you gotta and reward the rest of the time. speaking of dogs, my lil' fucker been running laps between pawing the door whining, and jumping on the couch and sticking her face in front of the laptop screen for the last 10 minutes so i guess i better get off my ass and take her outside...

dont get too hasty. i have a full boxer (read: very lively, active, and would/does play 24/7 when given the chance), live in an apartment, and work 10 hours a day. you can't always be the perfect dog owner, just work with what you've got and ease up on the worries. they're just pups, if you accept they're gonna misbehave you'll be more relaxed. i've lost a number of electronics to chewing etc in her first year. just get em out and having fun when you can and let them play around the house when you're home. they're probably happier than you think. a variety of chew toys (hard, soft, squeekers, and rawhides) and a run once a day will make them more than happy. throw in 10 minutes of some work on commands with treats and they'll fuckin love you. it's not like they're girlfriends.

v4, your bike is the stock lights, i got some advice on the install from the guy you bought it from. but yeah, the high beams in those do throw light EVERYWHERE, which is great if you're the only one on the road, but otherwise no no. the DDMs are plug-n-play with the exception of drilling about a 1" hole in the dust covers on the headlights to allow the wiring to go out to the ballasts.

LOL! check my sig Mattkatz. i've got a set of 35W DDM 6000k in my R6. Difference is great, but my bike come stock with projectors and the low beam cutoff throws next to no light into other cars cabins. it's why i wont stick a set in my jetta, though, no beam cutoff.

if you have a working headlight currently, you're going to be seen just fine. in fact, if all they see is a blinding ball of light, you're more likely to be swerved into by someone who cant see the road.

do not get the 55W setup, that's a ridiculous amount of light and installed in a reflector housing is dangerous to other drivers. 35W setup is already outputting 3x more lumens than halogen bulbs (~1000 lumens v. ~3000 lumens). just be aware that with reflector housings you're about to become that asshole who blinds the fuck out of everyone he drives behind and toward. i used to run my high beams at night but after my HID conversion, the lack of cutoff on the high beam, even in a projector housing, is blinding. You're better off getting some high-temp PIAA bulbs instead of HIDs to get the look and a bit more light output without becoming a hazard.
