  1. ^^ There's certain lines I won't cross...unlike double yellows. I cross those all the time.
  2. or at least the reception...open bar?
  3. Next year I may try some light/med adventure riding.
  4. Choking implies not competing. That was not the case. GS has 4 potential all stars and 2 former MVPs (still in their prime), they're tough to stop. GS will be there next year, the Cavs need to add a top tier player to be able to win. To do that someone has to go, and I hope it's Tristian Thompson. I don't care if he gets offensive rebounds during the regular season, he is just not a valuable player in a match up against GS.
  5. Before the trip I made a ton of beef jerky and dehydrated bananas, and brought some spiced tuna. That's pretty much what I ate at gas stops.
  6. Next time try the Arby's Meat Mountain
  7. I actually lost 4 lbs on that trip, 7 before rehydrating.
  8. I lost a legitimate 4 lbs on this trip (7 before I rehydrated), even with all the beer I drank. I made/brought most of the food I ate, and I generally don't stop to eat when I'm riding. Also, 10 hrs a day on those demanding roads burns a shit ton of calories.
  9. I highly recommend a 90 minute massage after 6 days in the saddle.

    Fontana Thread

My only serious complaint about Fontana is the fucking driveways. All I really need is a fire to drink at and a bed to pass out.
  11. We can always do a WV out and back.
  12. Home! About 2,600 miles in 6 days. Most of that was outstanding back roads. On day 5, I was dealing with some pretty severe dehydration. It was from the previous 4 days of riding hard, the heat on Saturday, and all that alcohol by the fire Friday night. It was a great trip and just what I needed. Sorry for scaring the new girl
  13. At the request of @Bad324 3 lbs eye of round roast (or London Broil) Cutting the meat is the most important step. Trim off as much fat as possible. Cut into slices 1/4 inch thick (the more constistent the better). Cut with the grain of the meat. Tip** it's much easier to cut if the meat almost completely frozen. 1/2 cup Soy sauce 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup Terrayki sauce (or pineapple juice, or Coca Cola, or anything sweet) 2 tablespoons liquid smoke 2 teaspoons salt 2 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 teaspoon meat tenderizer 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon chili powder Put everything in a large ziplock bag and refridgerate overnight. Takes 5-7 hours to dehydrate. Time depends on your dehydrator and how thickly you sliced the meat. You'll wind up with something like this. Way better than store bought and healthier.
  14. I think this is a clear violation of the 4th amendment. Location history, personal logs, papers...call it want you want, this is exactly the type of violation that the 4th amendment was written to protect against. However, as much as the SC claims they are non political and unbiased, I fully expect to the SC to give into pressure from LE and Washington and rule the other way.
  15. The 4th amendment provides no assurances against being followed Amendment IV The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

  17. The VFR is 100% ready to go. Today, I'm making a big batch of beef jerky to take with me.
  18. For sale, new never mounted 42L Monokey top case. Comes with all mounting hardware, 2 keys, and a universal monokey base plate that works with most rear carriers. The case is good quality, but not a name brand. I believe it's a Chinese version of a Givi case. It will even fit on a Givi Monokey base plate. $75 pick up in N Ridgeville.
  19. Or just buy a 2nd bike tomorrow.
  20. How did you get your cabin #? Was it on your reservation?
