  1. I'm going to ride a mix of paved & unpaved tomorrow.
  2. Both my Hondas are within 1 mph of my Garmin at 80 mph.
  3. My last 3 helmets have been Scorpions. I've been very happy with their quality and they don't charge Shoei-price-gouging-prices.
  4. Nice shoes, squid. Now, eyes on the road.
  5. Funny, that is the one thing I remember from sitting on an FZ6.
  6. Mount a set of these and you can come with us on Sunday,
  7. Clinton Body Count? http://www.wnd.com/2016/08/clinton-death-list-33-most-intriguing-cases/
  8. Not in my experience. New tires certainly handle better than old tires, but if they are wearing evenly they should still handle reasonably well.
  9. Very few, if any, riders on this board can out ride a modern ST tire on the street. The handing/turn in won't be quite as quick as good SS rubber, but there is plenty of grip for street operating temps. I thought PR2s and PR3s were really good. I burned through 3 or 4 sets of each. When the PR4 came out I switched over to Angel GTs...I'm about to mount my 6th or 7th set. No complaints at all with the GTs. Even though I've not had good experiences with Dunlop tires, I'm intrigued by the new Road Smart 3. I may give them a try next.
  10. I'll offer $2,701 and be there 10 minutes before Jim
  11. Actual photo of Tonik getting off a cruiser and onto something sporty
  12. It will be very interesting when the Hillary & Donald sex tape is finally released. It will explain so much.
  13. Absolutely anything in those sizes will be grippier than what you are used to.
  14. Wait, you were complaining about the VFRs exhaust sound and you have a boxer...lol Boxers sound like a sewing machines.
  15. It holds 4.9 gallons (per Honda). Range was one of the initial complaints when it first came out. The furthest I've ever gone on a tank is 215 miles, and that was mostly highway cruising around 75mph. The range is around 160 miles if I'm riding twisties at mach retard with a lot of high rpm and WOT. On those days I'm usually stopping for gas between 100-120 miles, so it's never been a problem for me.
  16. If Romney was as inherently dishonest or shady as Hillary other countries may have felt the need to step up and do something.
  17. 2000 R1100R. It was built like a brick, and almost as fun.
  18. I had one for about 1,000 miles. It never quite did it for me. I'd imagine the newer ones are more enjoyable.
  19. Dragging parts is relative to body position. Hang off far enough and no hard parts will drag...cruisers excluded.
  20. The VFR is a great bike for solo rides or short rides with a passenger. Personally, I'd get an FJR if 2 up riding is a big part of the equation.
  21. It handles fine with a passenger...but the passenger accommodations aren't as comfortable as say an FJR. Good enough for a couple hours, but I wouldn't throw my gf on the back for a trip.
  22. Stocker is pretty quiet. Aftermarket sounds pretty good.
  23. A lot of what's good about the VFR12 just doesn't stand out on a spec sheet. Like Paul mentioned, the wind protection and heat management are excellent. The build quality is off the charts, better than any other bike I've ridden. The chassis is exceptional. Traction is extremely good and the handling is confidence inspiring. What Honda did wrong...the MSRP. There's a 1st & 2nd gear throttle nanny that cuts 30-40hp, but it's easily/cheaply defeated by the after market. The stock suspension setting suck, unless you weigh 350 lbs (pretty good for 2 up though). Honda's suspension setting are usually quite good, but they missed badly in this case...I actually did a write up on VFRWorld a few years ago http://vfrworld.com/threads/suspension-settings-dialing-it-in.46762/ Looks...ehhh, I've never bought a bike based on looks, but you'd be surprised how many people stop me at gas stations to talk about it. Best thing I can say about it, is I've had it for years and I have no intention of selling...and I used to change bikes more often than @NinjaDoc
