I'm still commuting 16 miles of freeway each way but only a couple times a week lately. Up until a couple of weeks ago it was every day. On a 1 to 10 scale of fun I'd give commuting by bike a 2 & commuting by car a 1. I'm just getting too lazy to put in all those layers every morning.
The new zx10Rs are pretty sweet. I don't have any Kawasaki experience but I went from an 03 CBR600RR to an 08 CBR1000RR in 08 & I have absolutely no regrets. If you're going to spend the majority of your time on the track get the 636. If you're going to spend the majority of your time on the street get the 1000. You'll appreciate the extra torque.
Nice Cannondale. I've still got a Cannondale criterium road bike that I bought new in 1989. It's been refurbed with Dura-Ace components & new paint & I'm not planning on getting rid of it anytime soon.
No thanks. Looks better than the standard Goldwing though. A wee bit too porky for my taste. At 842 lbs curb weight it weighs about double what I like.
Fiesta Jalepeno's in N. Ridgeville is pretty much the real deal. Also, if you are a boozer Lupe' (the owner) will usually pour you some free shots if you eat in the bar.
The cleanest line in freshly dispersed gravel (ie: from a vehicle exiting onto an intersecting gravel drive then spinning the tires & throwing gravel all over the corner just before you happen by) will sometimes dump you on your ass. I know.
I've never had anybody ask me why before. I really they wouldn't even understand the what. Most seem to think I ride for fresh air & scenery. I don't challenge their misconceptions.
Explain to him what a squid is & why they are the laughing stock of the motorcycling community. A 17 year old with a bad attitude on a busa is definitely going to be a squid. Nobody likes to be laughing stock.
I concur. I am about halfway through my first set on the litrebike at 2300 miles. I find them to be very predictable. I like them better than the Michelin Power Pures I had last.
Speedvision's coverage of motorcycle racing left a bit to be desired anyway. I love the way the most important pass in the race would usually occur during one of their numerous commercial breaks & when they came back they would only tell you about it, not show you.
I was last on 555 August & these folks speak the truth. Most of it is utter crap. Lots of ball bearing style gravel in the corners. There are many other better choices. (78,83,377 etc, etc). If you have to ride 555 don't say we didn't warn you.
