  1. Not unless you know what you're doing. To do it right takes some knowledge and tools. I think in this price range one of the box systems isn't too bad of a way to go.
  2. You do have a point. The name calling does little to further a discussion, and it gets old really fast. I think even you would have to admit, however, that how much you identify any candidate's philosophy as marxist, communist, etc.. will vary depending on the point of view you're starting with. For us conservatives, Obama is about as close as you can get without coming out and admitting it. Call it hybrid Americanized Marxism, but it's not too far off.
  3. I would agree... dirt bike, DUAL SPORT, or EX500 / Ninja 650, DL650 (if he's big) SV650. I used to think the 250 was a pretty good beginner bike, but after riding one on the highway, I was shocked by how underpowered it was... to the point of being dangerous. Your friend will outgrow it quickly.
  4. lol... Well, it's always more fun to race if you know you're going to win.
  5. My opinion is... throw her sorry @ss out. There is just no excuse for misusing funds when the budget is so off balance and everybody is out of work. Take Obama with her. All the guy does is campaign on our dollar... him and his "Magical Misery Bus Tour". He's great at promising, but he's out campaigning rather than doing anything productive. We need a lot less talk and more action. EDIT: maybe it's better just letting him go on his little trips... less damage done in the long run.
  6. Funny... you seem to have that opinion of anybody that disagrees with you.
  7. Sad but true. I can't believe anyone would fall for that.
  8. BTW... not my bike. Just borrowed the pic from Volusiariders.com for a post here.
  9. sure does! I like your friends a little better than this one. The lines flow a little more.
  10. ^It's really true. I'm more satisfied with my Speed Triple than pretty much any other bike I've owned. I love my WeeStrom, but the fun factor and solidity of the Triumph have won me over. The triple motors aren't that bad for a newb because they have a wide spread of torque that makes them easy to ride (assuming you have some self control). You won't be outgrowing it any time soon either. The 675 would be ideal.
  11. Pirates and squids. I decided against it.
  12. Wish I had it... looks like a nice bike.
  13. sorry, can't help, but eeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! I think I would go for something with a serious skin-eating anti-bacterial content.
  14. Uncle Tom's cabin was a great tune... it's what he wanted to call the album, until the record company got a hold of Cherry Pie. He can cry all the way to the bank about that one, lol. The guy could write, no doubt about it.
  15. not idling is the dead giveaway. The pilot is the smallest circuit, so the finest junk will clog it up. What an idiot.
  16. I know Cain is a little out there, but wouldn't it be nice for a change to have someone as president that knows how to successfully run a business? Somehow I don't think the community organizer is doing much good for us these days.
  17. Oh come on! How can you not like a guy that wants an electrified fence with an alligator-filled moat at the southern border? That's some forward thinking. We could pay for social security by charging for webcams showing the carnage.
  18. If you're going for the white-wall look, I dig this bike. It's a Suzuki C50.
  19. http://www.hermancain.com/the-issues
  20. Tirerack says the bolt patterns are the same... should fit. I'm interested, if they match. Let me know the details. I could pick them up Saturday morning.
