  1. I do too... the stories I could tell you... (and most of them are true, lol).
  2. I could do it later possibly. You need to get on 646. It's a good road.
  3. Most of my riding buddies wouldn't be able to keep up, I think. I'll just keep this one to myself.
  4. Congrats. It will be good. It will be bad. Just remember, marriage is an honorable institution... but who wants to be institutionalized? j/k. It will be as good as you both are committed to making it. I've been married 14 years as of May. If you find the right one, you had better go for it. Just be sure.
  5. I'm in. Should be a good time. Keep it in small groups with lots of space and a good pace.
  6. I would have thrown them both out in the street naked, and then called the cops saying there were naked people looking in my windows. Video tape it all and you have a million views on youtube.
  7. I'm so sorry for all of you. I have a friend that lost his son to sids. You just don't know what to say... is there really anything? I cried like a baby at the funeral... just felt so bad for all of them.
  8. I owned one for a year, and pretty much disliked it more than any bike I've ever owned. It was too heavy, too slow, and had zero character. If you're looking for something to go long distances on the highway, it's pretty good at that. It will handle a twisty road fairly well, but it's not nearly as fun as a lighter bike. I don't know... just didn't work for me. I've also thought about a C14, but I'm not sure about it because of my experience with the ST1100.
  9. It can do anything, but why you would want to I don't understand. Cast wheels, limited protection (unless you add a lot of accessories) and it's not exactly a light weight. It really is just a tall road bike. I love mine, but not for it's "offroad capability". New one looks somewhat better.
  10. The first unquoted or the first part of the second paragraph?
  11. I'm telling you... start cutting off the drug supply chain and watch it all turn around. Kill anybody dealing hard drugs, 1 appeal, 1 year max imprisonment before the sentence is carried out. When the supply line dries up, what's left will be so expensive that the majority won't be able to afford it. Welfare needs to be this: Meals, housing, clothing, and medicine for children and those with real disabilities, and also for those that are of age and not disabled, but are under-employed (note, I didn't say not working). Those that are able and will not work... tough. You had better be a good dumpster diver. It has to be tough but compassionate, which is a difficult balance to acheive. The only thing we've done so far is create a dependent social class that is trapped in their poverty.
  12. 36 in June. I assume the Triple is a sport bike. I'm running out of time that I can handle a real sport bike... might have to get me one of them BMW S1000RRs before I am much older.
  13. I've bought 3 bikes from State8. Get a price from somewhere else, and they will beat it. Just don't expect any kind of service from them. If you are willing to pay a little more, I would agree that Ohio motorcycle in Oakwood has much better people and service, but they really aren't the cheapest. I bought my Triple from them, and have been happy with the sales and service there. I would go there again.
  14. Yeah, I know I'm not up to it. But I'd love to try.
  15. LOL... I guess I should remember the audience around here.
  16. I would take the internship. You have to get established in your field somehow. I'll bet you know a lot of people out there that have degrees in something but are working in a completely different field because they never found a place to use their degree. Good luck.
  17. I love that thing! It's big and comfortable. I can fully stretch my legs out (36" inseam). It gets decent mileage- 25mpg. It has decent pickup. It's been reliable (for a GM). What more could you want in a car? I don't need a chick magnet. I've been married for ever and ever.
  18. I couldn't see the intent of them looping the part they did. I get it about the dog. They know more than we sometimes give them credit for.
  19. Far Less Horsepower Than CUbic Inches
  20. Which is why I said "MORE SO". Of course you have to steer the bike to turn, but it's getting the feel of shifting the cog that is the point.
  21. There are a bunch of roads around Pittsburgh that look great, but they are typically 35mph and / or full of traffic. I hate Pittsburgh. You're better off crossing into SE Ohio... good roads over there.
  22. And they say dogs look like their owners!
  23. Sorry, but I was out trolling for some blue hair babes. Didn't want to be distracted as I was riding past the assisted living.
