  1. $13.99/50 at buckeye/Vances now for 180 grain 40. For the mathletes, that's 139.90 per 500.
  2. I find 4:00 or "kidney carry" more comfy iwb.
  3. Very wise move. My kids are very familiar with guns, but I still have several small safes all over the house. I was a little boy once too.
  4. I don't know that I've ever seen an anti-gunner post on this site. Hell, even our token libs carry. A few get annoyed with the copious amount of gun threads, but it IS a motorcycle forum.
  5. I cut the extra magazine holder off. Too bulky and 15 rounds really should do the trick.
  6. Get a small lock box since your kids aren't used to having guns in the house. $20-$40 depending on where you get it.
  7. I find the DeSantis IWB nylon holsters to be comfortable and work well. I think they're less than $30.
  8. Welcome! I'm still not convinced that I've found the perfect bike-carry method either. I don't trust IWB because I don't have any retention straps and owb precludes the occasional lunch stop. Maybe a shoulder rig? I'll find the right fit someday.
  9. Took it for a nice little spin. Cathartic to say the least.
  10. Ahhhhhhh. So therapeutic.
  11. Other than the obvious $$$$ factor, I suppose they're looking for working lights, signals, horns, pipe decibels, etc?
  12. Maybe I'm naive, but what are they looking for?
  13. I've kept every copy of Gun Tests Magazine since January 1996. The only pistol I've ever read about shooting sub 1" groups with all ammo tested at 20 YARDS was the XDM 45. That's impressive to say the least.
  14. You can have my iPad.... I keep it ....right........back.............here.
  15. I call an ORDN OC meet at Easton some Saturday night.
  16. I'm sure they were all there for the new Harry Potter movie.
  17. Meh... the only difference is that I know I'm in danger. No false sense of security when I go down to crack-Kroger.
  18. 22 lbs since January 1st. 50 by December was the goal and I'm pretty confident that I'll get there. Have not had a bight of fast food in over a month! Don't even want it any more.

    taurus?

The kimber customs are very well made, but 1911s take proper shooting skills for 100% reliability ..... proper wrists/elbows. The XD/M&P/Glock is a little easier to shoot well with 100% reliability. I love 1911s, don't get me wrong. You can learn to shoot anything. Google Kimber or Springfield 1911 and you'll read about "gun" failures. In reality, they're user issues but no one wants to hear that.
  20. We'll hope for the best. It appears that we've handled things well to this point.

    Which one?

Schiets Motorsports has this 2009 new for $7999. That's a hell of a deal for a pretty unique color.
