I don't know that I've ever seen an anti-gunner post on this site. Hell, even our token libs carry. A few get annoyed with the copious amount of gun threads, but it IS a motorcycle forum.
Welcome! I'm still not convinced that I've found the perfect bike-carry method either. I don't trust IWB because I don't have any retention straps and owb precludes the occasional lunch stop. Maybe a shoulder rig? I'll find the right fit someday.
I've kept every copy of Gun Tests Magazine since January 1996. The only pistol I've ever read about shooting sub 1" groups with all ammo tested at 20 YARDS was the XDM 45. That's impressive to say the least.
22 lbs since January 1st. 50 by December was the goal and I'm pretty confident that I'll get there. Have not had a bight of fast food in over a month! Don't even want it any more.
The kimber customs are very well made, but 1911s take proper shooting skills for 100% reliability ..... proper wrists/elbows. The XD/M&P/Glock is a little easier to shoot well with 100% reliability. I love 1911s, don't get me wrong. You can learn to shoot anything. Google Kimber or Springfield 1911 and you'll read about "gun" failures. In reality, they're user issues but no one wants to hear that.
