  1. I can't speak to your price, specifically, but my mom just sold some specialized vintage road/track bikes on craigslist for like $500 each. There was a LOT of interest, too. So I'd say you're fine.
  2. Adjusted my shift lever before I rode in to work today... before, it was way too high, and I had to lift my foot damn near off the peg to upshift. Now, it's a lot closer to my toe.
  3. They only WANT you to think that's a dried pig face. It's really cat!
  4. Hrm, my mom has an old Garmin Nuvi that came out of my stepdad's mini cooper. Wonder what model it is... It's just sitting in the basement, right now.
  5. I got my bike back and rode to work today!
  6. Well, to each their own, but just remember that even if YOU'RE not riding like a hooligan, OTHER drivers are the ones you have to watch out for.
  7. Rode 'er back from Pauly's tonight! A+ work. Shifts felt great, although I think I need to adjust my shift lever to bring it down some if possible. I think that's possible. Threw the liner in the jacket, closed up all zippers & vents. 'Bout that time of year!
  8. what the hell, this forum doesn't have the smiley of the monkey jerking off!
  9. Yep! Buy a set and your wallet will be much lighter! j/k, that's a good find.
  10. awesome ride report! I got to ride today/tonight, too, as I picked up my bike from Pauly's and rode it home First time I've ridden since I sold the ninja 500, several weeks ago! Correct about the chilly part, my liner will be going in, also. Do you have riding pants but choose to ride in jeans?
  11. Favorite jam by Lil Dicky is white dude:
  12. I wonder.... If the "Slow" group fills up more, we'll need to have 2 of them to keep them to the right size. I wonder if we could split them up into the "cruiser" group and then a clinic for "slower" riders... it could be faster than cruiser, but maybe have a couple more experienced riders who could sort of mentor the riders in the "slow" group who're interested in developing better riding skills. Just brainstorming... I could use a clinic and a free mentor, but good breaks, chit chat, and ice cream stops sounds like far more fun
  13. http://spoilers.netflix.com/spoil-yourself/ I HATE spoilers and I still watched a few, hahahaha. Wonder how many hits they're getting.
  14. I've been holding off just to give app developers time to update their apps, but I'm relieved to hear that it'll still run quickly on iOS 8. I, like you, went from a 4 to a 5s.
  15. fucking over zealous religious idiots. They don't suspect illegal activity, they suspect "immoral" activity, that's the issue. And of course they think it's THEIR job to be concerned with everyone ELSE'S morality. And their own dude resigned from a church for having an extra-marital affair sooo irritating that he can do what he's doing and get away with it.

  18. Psht, like anyone looks at the riders or gear Bikes and women, that's all you need to describe
  19. I loved 87.7 and I was sad when it turned into Latin music.... But I didn't know about all that that happened behind the scenes.
  20. Not mine, but for $1500 bucks you can't go wrong.... http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/mcy/4662150075.html
  21. um... Am I the only one that thinks that helmet is uglier than sin? BRB, wrapping myself up in a flame-proof suit. I guess it's just not my taste in helmets.
  22. People Meeting in Lodi: DerekClouser Whaler Grokked TimTheAzn (maybe) People Meeting in Wooster: People Meeting in Millersburg: People Meeting in Coshocton: (8:45ish) Maybe IP? 1.5 hrs roughly from Lodi to Coshocton according to the google route posted. Kickstands up on time (7:15 latest) from Lodi puts us/them in Coshoscton at 8:45 ish. That's not counting the brief pee stop in Millersburg, though, so.... 8:45-ish
  23. there's a guy on Cleveland craigslist with a 2013 CBR 500R for trade. Trade for that... it's "slow" enough (compared to other sportbikes, of course) that you'll feel no pressure to try and be faster than anyone. Something that's a year old, liquid cooled, & fuel injected will be exactly what you want.... Fun to hop on & ride around on, won't pressure you to perform, and will be casual while still looking good. Lots of recklessness is curbed when you KNOW you're slower than the other guy. It sounds like you still want a "big" bike, though, if you're looking at cruisers... It'll be VERY hard to trade your 650 for a cruiser, meaning you'd have to sell it and then buy a differente bike... And it'll be pretty hard to sell what you've got for what you're asking. Most people with 5-6 thousand dollars who are motorcycle shopping tend to look at the "marquee" sport bikes. And a Ninja 650 aint it. So you miss the people looking for high-end bikes, and as for people looking for low-end bikes... they're not looking to spend that much money. It puts you in a tough spot. The ways out are to learn better control (of yourself and your impulses, not the bike - and I'm not belittling you because it's a constant struggle for me, too) or take a loss Both are really hard to do.
