Just got info that i will be off this Monday. I know this is very late and probably being long weekend people already have other plans. But in case any soul out there longing to go out for a ride let me know. we can plan something As of now planning on leaving Canfield ohio sheetz ( 11&224) by 7:30 [ 4585 Boardman-Canfield Rd, Canfield, OH 44406] by 8:00 AM If any others interested we can plot route to meet you guys on the way. Pace will be medium - sporty since its holiday weekend and all and for sure wont be cranking it up since will be on new to me roads with uncertain condition. Route will be more exploring kind of ride, there are some roads which i havent been on long time and and some i never tried, just want to go check these out. Plus since they are not main stream roads very less chance of traffic/ cops. would like to reach home earlier by 5:00 to be with family so miles around 200-250 etc

i had it bad, or I should say I have it bad. I was stable and happy with my VFR until my son was born. After that its been a roller coaster not knowing what to do, leave motorcycling / then I think I should keep going faster /then I want to slow down/ then I want to quit again / bah long story short I still have it I guess as I am trying to dig out of the hole. So far Vstrom has been good to me. But I might or might not have added to the stable........ having said that I always look forward to your posts, that make me feel better planted, very sane and a guy in super control

Very nice, very similar to what we did weather makes a big difference too. 16 is by far the best bang for buck trip from Ohio I would say. Gonna do two day down and back up before the season ends

Oh yea when we all went it was 4 days of rain in 5 day trip, that's just unbelievable crap shoot. And this time not a single drop of rain, we were really lucky. I pass before your house almost all the time and try to wave and stuff from the bike to get your attention, but bike is so silent or ur mostly not there

I struggle with same question, bike is so silent can't leave wind noise alone in a video, add some music some one always love it others hate it. In the end no one cares I guess for all the effort that goes into putting out a video so it doesn't matter.

@Casper ur welcome, hopefully we get to ride more this season. This ride was slightly faster than what I wanted to be. The problem is I completely enjoy that, but want to set the "brain button a bit lower" to get used to a lower pace and enjoy more sights and sounds and also to explore more roads and places. but have to admit, speed is addicting. @ricer1 thank you, I always try to hit a different route every ride we go. It's kinda boring to keep doing the same route all the time when we have so many good roads around. @DerekClouser ah no problem, u guys always go way south west and it. Ends up being a huge ride for me to join u guys. But one hillbilly hotdog ride I want to tag along. How did u know about dpg? U ran into him down south 800 something?
