Here are some of my favorites from this trip.

Rolled out of Fontana this morning a little before 6am. Just got home about 10 minutes ago. Fun times, amazing weather, and great people. Total mileage for me was 3,336 miles. Pics later this evening.

Just got back from a couple passes on Deals Gap and lunch at the gap store. @what and I are at the cabin and @2talltim went to Wheeler's for a rear tire.

THIS ^ 119 is probably the best slab down IMO. Not much traffic and it isn't terribly boring.

I am completely ready. Bike already filled up, only thing I gotta do tomorrow is go to work for 4 dreadful hours and fill my camelbak.

Just got off the phone with my bank to make sure they don't turn off my card while in different states. Trying to explain where I am going to the girl on the phone was quite entertaining.

I think age and experience of the rider is just as much of a factor as the bike size. My insurance dropped a good bit when I turned 25. -

Our first night's hotel is within walking distance of a gas station and a walmart. Shouldn't have any trouble finding something.

441 on the weekend is joke IMO. If you're gonna ride it, try going during the week. The road up to Clingman's Dome is nice as well if you got time for a short detour.
