Not out yet. We just have Friday off and my wife has to work so I plan to take advantage of it. My last week is the week after Memorial Day.

    Ride Friday 5/25

Rick I’m not exactly sure on the time. How long does it take you to get to Beallsville? I’m guessing it’ll be about 2-2.5 hrs from when I leave Marietta. I could text you when I’m leaving.

    Ride Friday 5/25

I know most of you probably can’t make this but I thought I’d throw it out there for anybody that can and wants to ride. Pace will be medium-fast is my guess. Route to Marietta https://www.mapquest.com/directions/list/1/us/oh/44047-286285678/to/us/oh/lisbon-282040601/to/us/oh/salineville-282022608/to/us/oh/cadiz-282028727/to/us/oh/old-washington-282093200/to/us/oh/new-concord-282022987/to/us/oh/bristol-283477805/to/us/oh/chesterhill-282035655/to/us/oh/chesterhill/43728-9403/9219-s-state-route-555-39.460853,-81.828166/to/us/oh/dale-283449848/to/us/oh/watertown-282912229/to/us/oh/marietta/45750-6545/19815-state-route-676-39.445410,-81.524296/to/us/oh/marietta-282031629?unit=m&routeType=fastest The return route is up in the air. Depends on how I’m feeling and how I’m doing on time. I was thinking something like this possibly though https://www.mapquest.com/directions/list/1/us/oh/marietta-282031629/to/us/oh/sitka-283399104/to/us/oh/griffith-283475364/to/us/oh/hannibal-282035598/to/us/oh/clarington/43915-9738/47555-state-route-536-39.722712,-80.962040/to/us/oh/clarington-282030589/to/us/oh/beallsville-282036339/to/us/oh/alledonia-283586308/to/us/oh/jacobsburg/43933-9798/60795-armstrong-centerville-rd-39.970789,-80.970746/to/us/oh/cadiz-282028727/to/us/oh/kilgore-283381684/to/us/oh/bergholz/43908-7962/5161-state-route-164-40.541694,-80.884746/to/us/oh/salineville-282022608/to/us/oh/lisbon-282040601/to/us/oh/44047-286285678 I plan to be in Cadiz around 8. New Concord around 9:15 then Marietta around 11. I will probably eat lunch there. Let me know if you want to join me.
  7. What did Kawasaki do for him?
  8. I’m 41 with some bad knees. ACL surgery on right about 3 yrs ago. Left probably needs looked at, bothers me at times. I ride a 1000rr and can have some aches on the bike for sure. For me to get to any good roads I typically have to spend about an hour on Rt 11. On the freeway I often throw my feet on my rear spools to keep from having to be all crunched up. Once I get to the better roads my adrenaline kicks in and I’m usually shifting on the seat. I agree with others on the idea of changing body position helping. My knees will definitely hurt but the smile on my face makes me forget. I always wear a pair of padded bicycle shorts because Honda puts bricks for seats on their sport bikes. I always carry ibuprofen along with Tums and allergy eye drops on my bike. Occasionally I will get some shoulder or elbow pain and that’s when I’ll pop 800mg of ibuprofen. Usually I need to get gas within 2 hours of riding and that break usually is good enough to relieve knee aches. When I put in 500 or more miles I like to stop for a good 30 minute lunch as well. It does my whole body a lot of good. I feel it when I skip lunch for sure and it’s not because of hunger or nutrition my body misses the rest.
  9. That’s a great looking bike.
  10. I plan to make this. I hope the weather cooperates. It has sucked so far this year.
  11. My oldest daughter Tory and I got for a little over 3 hours today. She snapped this when I had to stop and get directions to get home because who knows where Pennsylvania was taking me on their detour. Gave us more time on the bike, so neither of us were complaining.
  12. The only wave I have ever seen from you is a middle finger.

    SR 800...

Thanks for the heads up. 800 definitely has some rough patches, but I love the section from Fly to 26.
  14. Got out today after church for my first real ride this year. About 300 miles in 6 hrs. Not in riding shape yet. My neck is sore. Still it was a great day overall. I even got to meet up with @NinjaDoc. It was great to see you Nivin.
  15. Thanks. I was thinking Ironton was a part of Wayne. I was a bit concerned it’s been a while since I’ve been to Monday Creek, but I plan to make it there this year.
  16. Is this True for Monday Creek area as well?
  17. Since the weather was crap here in Northeast Ohio I left the motorcycle at home and trailered the quad 150 miles east to Majestic Trails. Had a blast leading/chasing my buddy around the trails in sunny 55 degree weather. Had 1 hiccup with my head pipe cracking all the way through. Did some trail repair, good enough to get an extra run in but ultimately had to leave a little earlier than normal. Overall it was a great day on the quad. Today was a great test to see how I did with the rebuild and it seems as though it passed the test.
  18. I wore multiple layers and my 30 minute commute was not too bad. Probably would not have wanted to head out for an all day ride.
  19. Rode it to work. Was a late decision to do so, since they were forecasting rain originally. Thankfully everything went smooth. I unhooked the tender, checked the tire pressure, turned the key, hit the start switch and away I went. I left about 20 minutes later than normal but only arrived like 10 minutes later than I usually do ?. All is well with the world today.
  20. It’s a shame you can’t see that license plate. Hope you find it.
